Why does home entry matter so much?
Letting someone into your home is a big decision, and it should feel like one. Your home holds your family, your belongings and your routines. It is fair to want clear answers before anyone gets near your door.
I am Samantha Anema, and I run HarmonySync Solutions on my own from Cedar Falls, Iowa. You deal with one person, and I take that responsibility seriously.
What do I put in writing before the first visit?
Before my first visit, you receive a signed service agreement and a Home Entry Consent. These documents spell out what I am doing in your home and that you have agreed to my entry. Nothing is left to a casual understanding.
Putting it in writing protects both of us. You know what to expect, and I know exactly what you want.
What experience do I bring?
I am First Aid and CPR trained. I also have senior living experience as a Medication Aide, Resident Aide and Housekeeper. Those roles taught me to work carefully in other people's living spaces, to pay attention to details and to treat a home with respect.
I will not claim more than what is true, so that is the complete list. If you want to talk through any part of my background, I am happy to.
What should you ask anyone you let in your home?
These questions are worth asking me, and anyone else you consider hiring for work in your home:
- What do I sign before the first visit, and can I read it first?
- How will you get in, and who else would have access?
- What happens if something is damaged or goes missing?
- Who do I contact if I have a concern, and how fast do you reply?
- What training and experience do you have that is relevant to my home?
- Can I meet you before the first visit?
How do I answer those questions?
I answer them openly at the free 15-minute consultation. If you have a question about how entry or access will work in your home, ask me directly and I will explain what applies to your situation.
A good working relationship starts with plain talk, and I am glad to give you time to decide.
What if I would rather be home during visits?
That is a perfectly reasonable preference, and you can say so at the consultation. Some clients like to be home for the first few visits to get comfortable. Others prefer to arrange access in advance. Tell me what feels right to you, and I will talk through the options with you.
Why am I not listing key procedures here?
I could write a long list of rules to sound impressive, but I would rather tell you only what is true and settled. What I can say is that a signed service agreement and a Home Entry Consent come first, and the rest is something I talk through with you based on your home and your comfort.
Every household is different. Some people are home, some are at work, and some want extra privacy. Your questions shape the arrangement, so I would rather hear them than guess.
How can I feel confident before I book?
Take your time. Read the documents, ask questions and talk to a few people if you are comparing options. A good provider will not rush you.

Frequently asked questions
What do I sign before the first visit?
A service agreement and a Home Entry Consent are signed before every first visit. They set out what I will do in your home and confirm your permission for entry. You can read them first and ask any questions before you sign.
Are you First Aid and CPR trained?
Yes. I am First Aid and CPR trained. I also have senior living experience as a Medication Aide, Resident Aide and Housekeeper. Those roles taught me to work carefully in other people's homes. Ask about my background at the free consultation and I will answer plainly.
What should I ask a cleaner before giving them access?
Ask what you will sign, how entry works, who else has access, what happens if something is damaged, who to contact with concerns and what relevant experience they have. A trustworthy provider welcomes these questions and answers each one clearly and without pressure.
